Yohimbine – this particular alkaloid has that ability. But what about these receptors and why is it so important to block them? The usual intake recommendations are 5-10 mg yohimbine three times a day. Lightweight athletes and women are making good progress at only 15 mg per day, while heavyweight people tend to tend towards higher dosages. Since the bioavailability of orally administered yohimbine is not very high and a large part of the active ingredient is lost in the stomach, it is not uncommon for ambitious athletes to dose even higher. From my own experience I can report that 20 mg yohimbine three times a day in terms of fat loss showed amazing effects. However, this was also the maximum tolerable limit for me, because when I reached the 60 mg per day, I felt miserable and ran the whole day “with a board in front of the head” around.

One word to “Ingestion”: Yohimbine should never be taken with carbohydrates, as these block the fat-burning effect. It is best to take yohimbine between meals and immediately after getting up on an empty stomach in the morning.
